What is a lastminute.com gift card, and how do I get one?
A lastminute.com gift card is a voucher of a set amount, which can be used to pay all, or part, of the value of a flight, hotel or flight/train + hotel booking on lastminute.com.
The giftcardextra.lastminute.com promotional site is only open to customers who chose the Travel credit/Refund Credit Note refund option for their cancelled booking. If you’re looking to purchase a lastminute.com gift card, please go to travelgiftcard.lastminute.com.

How do I receive my lastminute.com gift card, and how many am I entitled to?
You can receive 1 PIN code for each cancelled booking, which can then be redeemed for a lastminute.com gift card up to a value of £450, depending on the value of your original booking. (Please note that only one gift card can be used at a time).

What is a PIN code?
The PIN code is a 13 alphanumeric code which you’ll need to claim your gift card. It’ll be delivered to you by email, which will also contain the instructions to register it and claim your gift card.

How do I redeem my PIN code?
When your refund has been processed, you’ll receive an email from us containing your PIN, as well as the instructions on how to use it. Go to giftcardextra.lastminute.com and redeem your PIN by entering it along with the name and email address for the chosen recipient for the gift card - this could be you, or a friend or family member.
Please note that the gift card can only be used for a booking using the email address it has been registered to, so if you wish to pass it on to someone else, you should make sure to enter their details on the registration form. Once successfully registered, the gift card will be emailed to the address you used to register it with.

How long is my PIN code valid for?
Registration will be open from midnight on 30/04/2020 until 11:59 p.m. on 30/04/2021. It is only valid for use on giftcardextra.lastminute.com.
If you received your PIN before 31/08/2020, your PIN expired and you cannot apply for your gift card anymore.
If you received your PIN before 22/12/2020, your PIN is expiring on 31/12/2020, after this date you cannot apply for your gift card anymore.

I cannot register the PIN code, what do I do?
- Check that the PIN code you entered consists of 13 alphanumeric characters
- Check that there are no blank spaces before or after the PIN code
- Please make sure you don’t confuse the letter “O” with the number “0”
- Check that you have not already registered the PIN code. The gift card message may have gone to the junk mail folder of the email address you used to register it with
- Check that the deadline for registration has not passed
- Check that you have correctly entered all the information requested in the form

I have more than one PIN code. Can I request to merge them into one gift card?
No, each PIN code has to be redeemed separately. And only one gift card can be used per booking. Gift cards also cannot be used with other vouchers (including refund vouchers) or promo codes.

How do I use my gift card ?
The gift card will be sent as a 16 digit code to the email address you provided during registration. It can be used towards the value of a flight, hotel or flight/train + hotel booking on lastminute.com - just select your chosen product as normal and then, at the checkout, click on the text “Do you have a discount code or voucher” and enter the 16 digit code in the field that’s revealed, then click apply.

I confirmed the registration but I haven’t received the email with my gift card?
- Remember to check the inbox of the email address you used during registration
- Check the associated junk mail folder too, and make sure your inbox is not full
- Try to register your PIN code again, if you receive an error message it means you have already registered it
- Contact us at promotion-en@lastminute.com stating your registration code, the email address used and a telephone number. One of our agents will check the status of your registration and get in touch to help you solve the problem.

How long is my gift card valid for?

I have entered the gift card number on the booking page but I can’t confirm my booking
- The code can only be redeemed on bookings made directly on lastminute.com. It won’t be accepted if you have been redirected from a third party site or advert (Skyscanner, Google, etc.)
- Check that the gift card number you have entered is made up of 16 digits
- Make sure that you have clicked on the “Apply” button
- Check that there are no blank spaces before or after the gift card number
- Check that you are using the email address associated with the gift card
- If using the gift card to only part-pay for your booking, be sure to check that you have entered the correct debit/credit card number that you are using to cover the rest of the value of the booking, and that it hasn’t expired, or exceeded its payment limit.
